In the wee hours of Two Thousand and Nine, Phasers on Kill was born. Four *ahem* gentlemen gathered for what was initially billed as a harmless Screeching Weasel cover session, but soon original material began to ooze and take shape on its own. Peppered generously with each band member's diverse musical influences, their songs abandon bells and whistles and get to the point: Energy. Hook. Melody. In three minutes or less in most cases. Chris and Mike, brothers by blood and band, hold down dual vocal duties and guitars, while Danno and Stump man the bass and cans, respectively. The band released their EP "Write Home" in late 2012, a 5-song smattering of solos, drum fills and harmonies. Now gearing up for the summer release of a new 7" titled 16 Stairs, 3 more songs should soothe the palette while the gang gets to work on a proper full length. Expect to see 'em on the road soon!
