Vintage Red is a Madison-based cover band that will keep you dancing from classic country to rock. Field & James sing those old classics like the Tennessee Waltz, Help Me Make It Through the Night and Always On My Mind. Add in some Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and Steel Magnolia until you're ready to dance to P!nk, Keith Urban, The Pretenders, Stevie Ray Vaughan & the Stones. Field & James write original music and also play out in the Madison area. You can hear their duets at www.fieldandjames.com.
All this great sound comes from a core of three talented local Madison artists. We feature the amazing talents of James Eisele on guitar/vocals. He's a prolific composer and well-known area artist - playing rock and blues with Tate & 008 Band and jazz with the James Eisele Jazz Trio. Catch original music by Field & James (www.fieldandjames.com) with their first CD "I Get the Best of You" available in March, 2012.
On the bass, Dr. Boom brings on the solid beat. You've heard Steve Peterson around town for years playing with the Kristi B Band and the Clyde Stubblefield Show. Bringing it in from pop music to sweet country ballads, Field Stark is a local farm girl with some serious versatility and party attitude!
Adding in the drumming powers of a variety of the area's best, VR is lucky to have Bob Milan, Chris Sandoval, Terry Galloway and Rich Larson rotating on the set. These guys are so busy, you can hear them playing country, rock, blues and steel drums all around the Midwest.
Vintage Red...rockin' music with a smooth finish!
