Curtis Parry is a jazz guitarist, songwriter and crooner in the style of Joe Pass/Django Reinhardt meets Michael Buble. He has worked with jazz greats, such as Otmaro Ruiz, jazz bebop ace Rick Zunigar, Leslie Drayton, Brian Russell of Roger Whitaker fame and LeJon Walker of Macy Gray, among many others.
After establishing himself as a top level jazz musician in Canada, Curtis is now expanding his horizons by diving into LA's live jazz scene. He also recently finished recording his first all original album "Inseparable", a great reflection of his gypsy jazz, bossa, and funk/r&B influences.
Curtis has an Associate in Arts degree from Pasadena City College and is also an alumni of the G.I.T program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. He has been fortunate to study with some of the best musicians the world has to offer, including jazz fusion master Alex Machacek, Jamie Rosenn, band leader of Joeless Shoe, 6 string acoustic fingerstyle master Jamie Findlay, the consummate master of the 7 string, Ron Eschete and the amazing Scott Henderson.
