What do you get when you merge a Hard Rock Guitarist-Male Vocalist with a Folk/Country Female Vocalist?? PERFECTLY NOVEMBER.
In the beginning…Hunter Scott MacLeod was looking for a female vocalist to sing on 3-4 of his power pop songs for an untitled project, and after trying out several talented girls with limited success, he answered an ad on Craigslist (Yes, Craigslist!) for a Female Vocalist looking for work, and the rest is history…Bethany Sherman was the one.
About an hour into the first session it was clear to Hunter and Producers Tony Karlsson and Bobby Amaro that Bethany had an amazing tone, and almost perfect pitch. Hunter quickly re-wrote several of the songs to reflect the female perspective, and even wrote 3 new songs “The One Thing, Stupid Little Love Song & Madly” specifically for the project and Bethany to sing.
With amazing response from local radio stations and press, the Duo’s brand of Power Pop is reaching larger audiences daily and after hearing the CD “The Divine Delusion”, it’s easy to see why Billboard magazine calls Perfectly November “A band to watch in 2012”.
