Z Capital was born Zaid Bilal Shabazz, late night on February 7 1982 in Boston, Massachusetts. Raised in Roxbury, a rough part of town where he has overcame many obstacles, he has learned the ways of the street and thrived in it's gritty urban environment. His parents are both from New York City, but they moved to Boston so his father could work in the shipyard in Quincy, Massachusetts. Z Capital has two brothers and one sister, who are all musically inclined.
Although he was always known as "the quiet one", he is inspired by the reaction he gets from his music, and is ready to take his music career to the next level. A Revolutionary and intense rapper, he began recording his music for himself, but now he is inspired to be the " voice of his people ". He is featured on the Eastern Conference AllStars mixtape hosted by DJ SuperstarJay nnd continues to drop new tracks and basically lives in the booth. He has opened shows for artist such as Hell Rell of Dipset in 2012, as well as performed for 200 - 300 person venues. His name has many meanings, most importantly he is called Capital because he represents the focal point of the ghetto all across the world.
