Edd (aka Leo) & Hazel met while both working for the inescapable MIC and would strum guitars at work when they thought no one was watching. Edd, Tim & Jim were in a previous band together called Floored On Empty. Pete found the project while trolling Craigslist. Hazel came up with the bands name so you can ask her about that...
Comparisons have been made to classic Alternative bands like Wilco, Joy Division, The Cure, X, DEVO and the B-52's as well as more recent bands including Interpol, The Killers, Deerhunter, The Shins, LCD Soundsystem, Future Islands, Divine Fits etc.

The band continues to enjoy playing shows at a growing number of DMV clubs and dive bars including The Velvet Lounge (DC), Club Heaven (DC), Wonderland Ballroom (DC), The Pinch (DC), Treehouse Lounge (DC), The Soundry (Vienna, VA), Empire (Springfield, VA), The Red and the Black (DC), Old Firestation #3 (Fairfax, VA), Epicure Cafe (Fairfax), O'Shaughnessy's (Alexandria, VA), Public House #7 (Falls Church, VA) and McCormack's (Richmond, VA).
