Scud Penguin is an original 3 piece band from Kingston on Thames that captures the essence of fabulously eclectic mix of British bands popular between 1976/1981. The band has a unique sound but it is influenced by the amazing chops of Dr. Feelgood and The Pirates, the articulate story telling of Ian Dury Blockheads, Talking Heads and Arctic Monkeys. Crashy punk sounds compulsive ska rhythms also contribute to an eclectic set of songs. Scud Penguin is popular on the London Promoter Circuit and can be found at Monto Water Rats, The Fiddlers Elbow, The Enterprise, The Comedy and many more.
The other side of Scud Penguin is that the band organises and promotes charity gigs on behalf of a number charities relating to mens' and ladies' health.

Formed in 2010, Scud Penguin has played hundreds of gigs and recorded 3 albums, all of which can be found on iTunes. We also have a very active pages on Soundcloud and Facebook.
