Teazer is a feel good story of a band recently reunited after 30 years; formed in December 1979 playing venues during the early 80's throughout OH, KY & WV.
As fate would have it, in 2009 a Facebook Group was formed for posting stories and pictures of past local and regional Rock & Roll bands from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Through this site Teazer's members began to correspond with each other. At this time, band members were living across several states with many not having had contact since their split in 1983.
As a result of this social networking in 2010 Teazer took the stage once again for the Teazer Reunion Concert. The outcome of that show found themselves four short months later in January 2011 and exactly 31 years since the band originally formed in a studio in Nashville working on a new EP of original material. The sessions were produced by LA Producer Thomas Johnson best known for his work for Porno For Pyros and Rancid. As luck would have it, songwriter Jody Harris, guitar and backing vocals for Brad Paisley (now with Taylor Swift) and longtime friend from OH was living in Nashville and has contributed substantially in songwriting for the band.
Considering the group in the grand scheme of things is in its beginning stages, in just two-years they have a reunion show, a new Single release with Country singer Ronnie Milsap, honored guests on several radio stations, International Radio airplay, appearances in multiple newspaper publications throughout the nation, positive media coverage showing a strong public interest in their work/efforts, professional photo shoots, over 4,375 Facebook fans and growing, I Can See The Light, Prisoner of the Highway video, Resurrection & LIVE Full House CD releases, Rock for Red Cross Live DVD.
The band has also made its presence known on MTV/Ourstage, voted #1 by the fans in six categories:
