Their live performances have garnered rave reviews. They were awarded, “Best Band”, at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood for their performance in 2011′s Rockfest Film Festival. They have been performing all over Southern California for the past year to rave reviews. Songs by the band's principle song writer, Will Faeber, have been hits in Europe, used in feature film sound tracks and covered by other Artists in Nashville.
Will Faeber on Lead Vocals, Keyboard, Harmonica and Guitar: International recording artist singer/songwriter Will Faeber: David Allen of the BBC called Will’s 1997 release, NO SMALL COMFORT, “One of the best of the year”. The recording spawned five dance club hits and kept Will and his band touring the UK and Europe for three years where they headlined such notable festivals as the Jacksonville and the Americana. They also performed twice at London’s Wembley Arena. Tracks from, No Small Comfort, have also been in feature films, choreographed for Dance and covered by other Artists in Nashville. Will is a dynamic and charismatic performer: Richard James had this to say in his San Diego Troubadour review. “Faeber sings in an unaffected, conversational style, sometimes making his lyrical delivery feel like a letter from an old friend. His husky voice has a distinct twang that brings an unexpected down-home feel to an otherwise elegant affair. It’s a clever contrast that sounds natural, not contrived.” Will has recorded a total of six critically acclaimed CDs.
Guitar Wizard John DePatie: 2013 was a busy year for guitarist John DePatie. Best known as a sideman/session guitarist for people like Nancy Sinatra and Leif Garrett, he released his first solo EP, Psychedelic Cowboy in August. He also cowrote and recorded a CD entitled Acoustimania with studio legend Don Randi from the Wrecking Crew, which was released in November. Cathouse Thursday, his group with Will Faeber and Aaron Bagley, signed a deal with Sonoton who commissioned them to write and record their fifth CD. With Kim Cameron (Side FX), DePatie co-wrote Not Into You which reached #17 on the Billboard dance charts in October.
Aaron Bagley on vocals and bass: Aaron is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who frequents gigs throughout Southern California. Aaron is a rock-solid rhythm player with vast experience spanning several genres of music. Aaron is also an award winning music producer and recording engineer who’s skills have helped define the sound of Cathouse Thursday as Aaron was the recording/mixing engineer and co-producer on the last three Cathouse Thursday CDs.
Jody Bagley on vocals and keyboards: Jody, along with his brother Aaron, also got his start with the Boy Singers Of Maine. He has gone on to have a career as a choir director and brings his talents as a vocal arranger to the Cathouse.
Francisco Pawluszek on Drums:
The Argentinean born Francisco Pawluszek began playing electric bass at the age of 10. After playing in several bands he started playing his brother’s drumset at age 16, and hasn’t looked back since. He played in several bands while studying at a University in Buenos Aires, and then got a chance to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2010, in Boston. He attended and graduated the college, earning awards such as the Berklee Achievement Scholarship. There he studied with the most respected teachers in the world, and became a very versatile player. He performed and recorded with several groups around Boston in any imaginable style, ranging from Funk/Jam Bands (The Goosepimp Orchestra) to Pop/Rock (Onna Lou, Spliffsters, Melissa Shirr), and even Progressive Metal (Felix Martin). The first band he joined as a drummer back in Argentina, The Evenfall, recently self-released their first full-length album “The Waiting Room,” and can be found on iTunes.
