Minister Robert C. Franks Sr.
Born November 13, 1976 in Houston, Texas. Accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized at the age of twelve. Robert started writing and rapping at and early age. The first song he ever wrote was called “Time to Change Our Ways”, which is now on his first mix c.d. He also sung in church choirs, marched in drill teams, and even praise danced. As a youth God was calling Robert to the ministry. He did not discover his calling until the age of 23 and that was to bridge the gap between the young and the old. The scripture God gave his ministry was Matthew 5:16.
He then became asst. youth minister at his two former churches (Greater Saint Paul’s M.B.C. & L.O.Ve Fellowship). God wanted him to go into the streets and the churches to show the youth that you can be young, fly, and love God.
While giving him the ministry God also saw fit to give him Kizzie Franks to be his wife in March of 1999. They have two children that are biological and no one can count how many are spiritual.
Robert was on the “Get On The Bus Tour”, which consist of a group of artist that are fighting against H.I.V. aids, teen pregnancy, school drop outs, and other social ills. The debut album by Rev. Rob drop in April of 2010. Rob has ministered through rap all over his home town of Houston, TX.
December 21,2010 Robert became the founder and pastor of Mainline Ministries which he preaches the word of God every Sunday. The ministry that God has giving R.E.V. Rob is rare considering that it appeals to young as well as the old (Reaching Every Vessel).
Rob has a story on how he left the church to chase the ways of the world because it looked like it was better, but only to find out that Gods way is the best way. When he returned to the church he found God for himself and now no one can change his mine about his father in heaven.
He is now working on his sophomore album that is schedule to drop in the fall of 2013….
