The Guntown Kid, Bandito & Elray Pierro head down from the peaks of Guntown Mountain to the city lights of Guntown, the post-pop-punk power-trio, to deliver messages of courage and control - and the lack thereof - in an effort to extinguish growing fears of lonesomeness and no-direction, while strengthening the Guntown community.
At the end of 2010, The Guntown Kid & Bandito, weeks before having met Elray Pierro, were able to harness some electricity long enough to transport up Guntown Mountain where the two made a public record-of-sorts, "Demo," available for free download at sutrorecords.bandcamp.com.
In March of 2011, after perfecting their craft with the help of Elray Pierro, the three recorded "Courage & Control" at FreqLab Recording in San Francisco. Working with Wyatt Bixby, the band was able to put a number of songs into a high-quality magic-can for all to hear. It can be streamed and downloaded at guntown.bandcamp.com.
