A few months after my younger brother Peter passed away, I collapsed on his bed one day, in tears. I vividly remember looking up from the bed to an old plywood guitar in the corner of his room, one that he sometimes played for fun. In excitement and surprise, I picked up the guitar, and the I've been playing for about six years now, writing songs to tell the story. I hope you enjoy the songs! Each one has a message, either a personal story, sometimes imaginative, sometimes painful, yet hopeful, and always a real feeling. Music is what connects the dots, among people and little tiny seeds of thought, however, ultimately the song has a life of its own.
Thanks to Kathryn Caine, Andy Thacker, Darrell Muller, Adam Larrabee, Gabe Robey and Nate Leath, for helping me put these thoughts to reality.
No matter how long it seems we must wait for things to go right in our life, we can always listen to bluegrass and country music along the way.. Enjoy!
