Johnny Blackout, founder of Blackout Mafia, has had a long history of success as a solo musician, releasing two acoustic driven EP's entitled, "Made By Hand" and "These Times." He also was featured in Tommy Lee's latest solo album, "Public Disservice Announcement" and Ministry's album, "Fix". Despite these great feats in his music career, he wanted more. He decided to break away from being a solo acoustic artist and start a band with a much more heavier sound. It wasn't too long after when he crossed paths with his newest drummer and fellow song contributor, Geoff Croteau. Geoff, a CT native, moved to MA a couple years ago to pursue music and be a part of the Boston music scene. The two met through a mutual friend and the rest became history. Practice after practice, they've collectively created music for about a year, until closing out 2010, bassist Jason Alton has joined - completing the group. On 4/24/2012 they released their debut album "Omerta" to rave reviews. Now situated in Taunton MA, they forge ahead, continuing to write new material and bringing metal to the masses in 2012.
