Created in 2007 by multi-instrumentalist Jeff Hamel, Majestic is a progressive rock recording project out of Minneapolis following the likes of Dream Theater, Yes, Genesis, Ayreon, Porcupine Tree, and Riverside to name a few.

Jeff was born in Detroit and is now living in Minneapolis. He learned to play guitar from Joey Mazzola (Former Sponge guitarist). Jeff is also a RID (Recording Institute of Detroit) graduate. While Jeff composes and plays most of the music you hear with Majestic, he also brings in guest vocalists and musicians from all over the world to help bring forth his vision. What started back in 2007 with a few tracks up on MySpace has now grown into selling CDs internationally to fans all over the world.

Jeff’s unique guitar style mixed with atmospheric keyboards has created a unique sound of progressive rock. Some call it neo, space or symphonic prog but Majestic is truly a mix of them all. Majestic’s music ranges from dreamy, atmospheric passages to heavy hard rock work outs and many styles in between. With epic musical story-telling compositions, Majestic is quickly becoming one of the hottest bands in progressive rock.

Jeff brings in musicians and vocalists from all over North America to contribute their talents to Majestic.
