What you can expect from them is Hardcore Guitar Solos, Meaningful lyrics, Overwhelming Bass Playing and Standard Solid Drums.... NOPE NOT THIS BAND. A Day Like No Other is Fast, Fun, Neo Punk'd, Stupid, Sing Along, Jumping and a Humping Rock Band. They're full with catchy upbeats, pure comedy entertainment, and overdosed with awesomeness.
A Day Like No Other was founded by guitarist and lead singer Amador T. Yeverino, Bass Player Christian Torres, and later added drummer Nathan Mora. Based out of San Antonio, TX, the group began playing around the scene in late 2010. Influenced by Punk Rock Bands such as The Ramones and Sex Pistols, the band followed the Power 3 style such as Nirvana, Green Day & Blink 182.
Front man Amador has had a passion for rock music since he got his 1st guitar. Influenced by his heros Johnny Cash and Kurt Cobain, Amador has had the drive and leadership to explode A.D.L.N.O. into the rock scene. There were a couple punk rock bands that Amador played for, but it wasn't until he was playing for a Christian Rock band that he met his future Bass Player Christian Torres.
Christian Torres was a computer genius that learned everything on his own. With some band experience in high school, Christian was very new to playing the bass guitar. Being the web designer and media tech for the Church that Amador played bass for, he saw the style and awesomeness that will soon be his. Amador taught Christian the basics of bass playing and sent him on his way. Blame Amador for Christian's bass playing, regardless.
After loosing their original drummer in 2010, and then releasing their 2nd in 2013, it was Nathan Mora to the rescue.
A Day LIke No Other is performing weekly across the south texas region, and is going back to studio producer Peter Carey to redo and finish the long awaited album.
