“Bay Village was recently named one of the best communities for music education, and the talents of two Bay High alumni and the daughter of another will be featured Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Savannah Bar & Grille. Bay High Alumni Susan Fletcher and Robert Lloyd Peeples, along with Rachel Roberts, daughter of Bay High alumna Catherine Robison-Ranney, will present an evening of music at The Savannah Bar & Grille, 30676 Detroit Rd., Westlake, starting at 8 p.m. The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation dubbed Bay Village one of 307 communities in the U.S. accredited with “2013 Best Community for Music Education.” “In celebration of this designation, we would like to show the community where a good foundation in music education can take you,” Fletcher said. “The evening will be filled with rock, jazz, blues, folk and everything in between.” Fletcher will headline the evening with her hard rock, blues band Scarlet & the Harlots.
