Originally from Capetown, South Africa, Daniel Bradley is a NYC based professional drummer/percussionist. He has studied at Berklee College Of Music (Boston, MA) where he focused on Drumset Performance, and at The Drummer's Collective (NYC) where he studied Drumset Performance and Theory.
Daniel has recorded drum tracks for Hip Hop Superstar Jada Kiss, filled in for and share album credits with Tobias Ralph (drummer for Lauryn Hill and faculty member at The Drummer's Collective), recorded multiple drum tracks with Grammy Award winning producer/engineer Dan Grigsby, performed live on "The Directors Chair" with Jonathan Clarke of Q104.3, and completed his first European tour in 2010.
He has performed with artists/musicians such as Mick Gaffney, Jeff Ganz, Musique, The Trammps, Yvonne Elliman, Heatwave, The Ritchie Family, Linda Clifford, Melba Moore, Barbara Roy, Cory Daye, Steve Nervo, Teri DeSario, Rochelle Flemming, Tony Babino, Gedeon Luke, Ghost Ridah, Turbine, The Avon Junkies, Dorian Spencer, Paragraph, The Jaclyn Shaw Quartet, WeAreFireflies, The Babino Brothers, Dan Orlando, Therina Bella, Christina LaRocca & Heavy Weather, The Switch, Sons Of Origin, MGM Guarnera Brothers, Catch Wild, Alessia Guarnera, In The Now, as well as many others.
He has also opened up for international acts such as Bad Company, The Calling, Ed Kowalczyk of Live, Badfish, The Pietasters, ZO2, and John Popper of Blues Traveler.
He has performed/performs at many of the East Coast’s premier venues such as The Bamboozle Festival, Mark Etess Arena, PNC Waterside Pavilion, Starland Ballroom, Webster Hall, St. George Theater, The Bitter End, Princeton University, Northern Lights, The Press Room, Higher Ground, Southland Ballroom, Emerald Lounge, Ten 0 One, Brooklyn Bowl, The Delancy, Highline Ballroom, Arlene’s Grocery, The Stone Pony, L’Amores, CBGBs, etc.
He has studied percussion with Tommy Igoe, Robby Ameen, Pat Petrillo, Mark Flynn, Dave Previ, Adriano Santos, Peter Retzlaff, Fred Klatz, Vince Cherico, Bob Tamagni, Bertram Lehmann, Ed Saindon, and Mark Kohler.
His recordings have been featured on 101.9 RXP, 88.9 WSIA, and 95.9 WRAT
He is available for gigs / recordings / private lessons / touring, and performs regularly throughout the tri-state area.
