Psy'Aviah brings open-minded electronic music with heart and soul, ranging from trip hop to big beat, from synth pop to electro rock. Focusing on blending several genres and influences into their own electronic world.
Psy'Aviah consists of Yves Schelpe, who acts as the songwriter and producer. Many other people have been involved in the project over the years, a wide range of guest vocalists and some more long term members. It reflects the main philosophy of the project: experimentation and exploration of genres and sounds, pushing boundaries. This is portrayed in both incorporating different genres into their own sound and the different collaborations they do with vocalists, from poetry with Suzi Q. Smith and Jean-Luc De Meyer (Front 242), to EBM power-pop with Jennifer Parkin (Ayria), even to Enya-esque reminders with Kristell Lowagie and so much more... Due to this experimentation in both music and lyrics, the band fits well on different stages, catering both gothic and electronic festival, as well as the more experimental shows.
