As a third generation singer/songwriter, Jesse Keith Whitley has many years of country music in his DNA. Son of Lorrie Morgan and the late Keith Whitley and grandson of Grand Ole Opry legend George Morgan, Jesse has an incredible talent for singing and song writing. He has toured with his mother, Lorrie Morgan and has played popular venues in the Nashville area, and all across the country. His performances have been to packed houses, with audiences on their feet screaming for more when his set is finished. At age 23, Jesse is launching a new phase of his career by signing with Octabrook Entertainment for management and touring. He recently appeared at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony where he performed and accepted an induction honor on behalf of his father, the great Keith Whitely. He has signed with Octabrook Records for his recording projects. The recording of his first CD was on November 9, 2010, with the release date of May 9, 2011. Jesse is determined that with hard work writing songs, in the recording studio, and in rehearsal halls, he will eventually accomplish his career goals. Having grown up in the music industry and being surrounded by performers his entire life, he knows and understands that work and sacrifice is needed in order to accomplish these goals. It does not come easy, and Jesse knows it. Even though he springs from music legends, he is in no way a “re-run”. He has worked to craft his own distinctive style as a singer/songwriter. However, when performing one of Keith Whitley’s songs, audiences can hear that magical voice that was his dad’s. Now, Jesse is hoping he can create some of his own magic in the music world.
