We are rock archeologists searching for the holy grail of audio groove. Come, join our dig team...We are The Pomeranians!

A garage/folk rock band from Oneida, New York recording and performing in the Central New York region. Formed in 2010, The Pomeranians feature perfectly simple sounds with original music that is especially attuned to the hearts and the minds of the people. Both our original music and covered music exhibit a passion for music and our fans.

Al Krula - Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar. Al brings 20 years of musical experience to The Pomeranians having been in such past bands as The Black Cherry Meltdown and Inches From Crashing as well as a wealth of solo songwriting projects.

Dan MacAlpine - Drums. With an early love of music and natural drumming ability Dan adds a primal depth to The Pomeranians’ music as well as thoughtful songwriting skills.

Andy McHugh - Bass. With one mission in mind Andy maintains the elegantly simple bass groove that moves you. He is also active in songwriting and production.

Jimmy Martin - Lead Guitar. The impetus of such past projects as The Jimmykickers, Jimmy brings a unique musical emotion to The Pomeranians' sound with his repertoire of searing solos and ambient sounds.

The Music:
The Pomeranians are primarily an original rock band with a 60’s flavor. In addition to an ever-growing original catalog, The Pomeranians play a number of cover songs by such bands as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Dylan, The Temptations, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steely Dan, The Monkees, The Rolling Stones, Marshall Tucker Band, Chris Isaak, Santana and others.
