Music was his savior, At less according to Da-Quan "Quanner" Anderson.A newcomer to the game of sorts, who is fasting becoming a fan favorite with his lyrical ability,catchy hooks and upstate charm. Quanner first came on the scene in 2009 with a freestyle entitled "Day&night",which was a freestyle of the 2002 hit from the girl group "Isyss".After local success, he took a hiatus but in mid 2011 released the Banger "Change Positions", which went on to sell 1000 units just locally. Raised in Buffalo New York, Daquan was introduced to the singing world when a friend had him sing for their entire 7th grade class. When he noticed the cheers he received by his classmates and was hooked. From that day on, he declared he would get better and showcase his talents to the world.But things didn't go as planned for young Daquan. With the death of his cousin and near death of his older Brother,he began to question if his dream were even capable in his city. Tired and wanting a change for his life, he packed his bags and moved to New york city, believe this was his second chance on life.Now fresh off a hiatus and in the big city, Quanner has big plans. First he'll be recording his one of five mix tapes titled "The Best Kept Secret volume 1", which is do out in 2013. Next, a bit of traveling and possibly a tour. Finally, some writing and showcases including many popular television program, such as "The Voice" and The X Factor.With his confidence and will to not lost, we can expect great things from him, stay tuned.
