'Xenophanes Productions' is the name of a band that presents poems, lyrics and music. The producers in this space are Norbert Hinterberger (philosopher, M. A., poet, singer, piano and drums) and Adelheid Klare (poet, cello, double bass and e-bass) -- both from Hamburg, Germany. The band is in action since 2006. Influences – philosophy and theoretical physics: The Presocratics, Socrates, Isaac Newton, Immanuel Kant, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Karl R. Popper, Erwin Schrödinger, Hermann Weyl, Lise Meitner, Wolfgang Pauli, Kurt Gödel, Louis de Broglie, Alfred Tarski, Max Born, Richard P. Feynman, Murray Gell-Mann, Roger Penrose, Stephen Hawking, Lee Smolin, Martin Bojowald, Renate Loll, Edward Witten, Michael Green, John Schwarz, Brian Greene, Lisa Randall, Heinz Dieter Zeh, Christian de Duve, John D. Barrow, Douglas R. Hofstadter, and many more great thinkers. Influences - music: Bach, African rhythm and their successors in blues, jazz and (not so often) in the rock music. But we think that modern poetry has sometimes to try a bold fusion with archaic rhythms and rocky riff-structures to capture that feeling of a modern human that you can't express in other music forms.
