In 2001, RLC Recorded his first songs in Baltimore, MD while attending Woodlawn High School. Recorded in his parent’s living room, RLC pressed up his music and sold the Cd’s around his High School. The support received from that experience fueled RLC to continue pursuing a musical career pass his High School hallways. Developing his craft and moving to Fort Worth, Texas to attend TCU, RLC received his first paid shows throughout Texas, traveling with comedian Special K.
RLC’s music is heavily influenced by east coast lyricism and dirty south bang, well blended into a unique sound moving to spread around the World. Currently RLC has linked up with Texas Artist Movement’s own Terry McGill and has just released the project/mixtape titled “City of God”, which can be found on Itunes. This has been his first project to receive regular radio play with the single “IceCream”. RLC has also shot his first video in Dallas/Fort Worth for the first single from ‘City of God‘, “Game For Fools”. Other projects include his 2008 album “War in the Streets” and his 2009 mixtape “The Transcript”.
RLC has Launched his own website RLCROD.COM in 2010 which is already experiencing a great rate of growth through Cavanaugh Design. He is also apart of the Hip Hop group Creative Business which he and rapper Xcell formed in 2010. Creative Business has released several projects, the most recent includes “Higher Learning” and “When We Were Young”. Coming before the close of 2010 is Creative Business’ projects “Vacation in the Caymans” and “Smoke Stacks”. They launched the website THEBIZZMUSIC.COM also in 2010. This site is also being very well received, again worked by Cavanaugh Designs.
Coming soon for RLC is the release of the official video for “That Ain’t Right”, a single from the project “City of God”.
