The God (A. Penfield) began writing in 1996 and became vocal around 1997 when himself and brother, Meanz formed Def Menace which is more of an entity than a group. The God continues writing but doesnt record until 2001 with the release of Original Menace: The Underground EP under the name of Haiki Fireblaze. Original Menace was followed by Beyond Da Glory that same year. Between 2003 - 2005 the albums SOULdiers Stand Militant, Heart of An Emcee and Too Much 4 Society was recorded as one of the original four members of
the U.G.S. squad.

Tha UndaGround SOULz, at the time consisting of: Archrealm aka Realmblazer, Wargod aka Lord Aries, The Lyricist aka Chain of Misery, Haiki Fireblaze aka The SOULdier (A. Penfield),CrisDigital aka King Horrocore, Kim-ma aka Sexy Chica, Lord Zero aka The Pyrokineticist, The Architect aka Bloody Sword, V.I.N.C. aka Drunken MC (R.I.P.), Eratic aka Hawk the Unseen, Lady Blue Love aka Blue, Kamouflage aka The Foreign SOULdier, Illchild, Mac Blaze aka Macabean the Rebel, Nacrissis (Meanz), and Schizo Da Maddcap aka Schizo.

Between 2005 - 2006 the group disbanded with many people going many different ways. The God under the name Knowgood Knowgod, Mac Blaze, Meanz, The Lyricist, and Schizo form The Archons. The group never drops an album but records from 2005 - 2007. In the time lost, The God continues to record and releases 10 more solo albums in 2 years: God Knows Good (6 Album series), Treason: A Breach of Homeland Security, Seeking Employment EP, Preacher In A Cadillac, and Keep Your Coins I Want Change. The Archons disband later in 2007 because of a lack of leadership.

After The Archons, The God met another emcee/producer, Syn, and formed the duo Synful Godz and releases Mic Stalkerz EP that same year. Between the years of 2001 - 2007, The God had managed to record 16 albums with many artists and various producers (mostly free DL's or instrumentals) but in 2008, The God began recording with beats from Det the Bomb on albums such as World Extermination which eventually led to a trilogy of albums fully produced by Det the Bomb, the last of which was finished in September of 2011.

The God has also produced many of his own works throughout the years on miscellaneous projects and has one fully self-produced album, Runnin' Thru The World, released in 2009. The God releases, Its An EP the fall of 2011 and follows up with spoonfullahoney the mixtape that winter. As of now The God continues to work on 2012 projects, which are scheduled for an early spring release. Continued Releases: OFFICIAL VOLUME 1 (2012), OFFICIAL VOLUME 2 (2012), Must Have Forgot (2013)
