Since 2008, Cleveland, Ohio-based rock outfit Quadrophonic Desperation have been writing and performing their unique brand of rock, a blend of styles that ranges from DIY punk to heavy prog-rock composition. The core members consist of singer Jeff “James” Antolini, bassist David Ber, and guitarist Robert Szucs. They found their permanent drummer, Anthony Payne, in 2011, having finally found the missing rhythmic piece of their group, after going through several other drummers throughout their collective career. The four members entered The Media Cube in Strongsville, Ohio with multi-platinum-selling producer Mark Berry and engineers Michael Papatonis and Steve Gibson in early 2012 to record their debut album Power and Greed, the result of which spawned an eclectic mix of hard rock, blues, psychedelia, and jazz with a distinct “blue-collar” aesthetic. The album's final mix and mastering was done by Jim Zolis at Zolis Audio Productions in Toronto, ON in May of 2012, and will be distributed through KI/Interscope/Universal.
