The Lost River Cavemen / Bio

The Lost River Cavemen formed in late 2005 around singer/songwriter Michael McMillian's side project of folk songs, and they started writing songs as a quartet shortly after. The Cavemen have toured The U.S., written over 40 original songs, self-released three full-length albums, and all without the help of a manager or booking agent.

The Cavemen's instrumentation includes upright bass, fiddle, acoustic guitar, and drums, but they are not a Bluegrass band; their music has been described as Punk-Country, Neo-Folk-Rock, and Indie-Americana. The Lost River Cavemen create a sound & show that make dancing & drinking infectious. Keep your ear to the ground, because these boys are just getting started.
