“When I love, I love hard,” are words spoken by musician Denzell Terrell, whose music is a testimony of being in love, falling in love, heartbreak, and relationships. His music offers a mix of R& B and soul with racy lyrics and gospel-tinged vocals but, he’s not just a singer. Denzell is a song-writer; instrumentalist, producer and engineer; a musician in every sense of the word. Bringing love and passion back to R&B music, he is currently working on an EP titled, Something Special, and a mix tape entitled, Twist Tape which is a blend of yesterday’s and today’s music .
A Harrisburg, PA native, Denzell Terrell was raised by his grandmother after his mother was brutally murdered. Separated from his siblings, as a result of his mother’s death, music became his salvation. He began singing in church and eventually started to take music seriously. “I knew I wanted to be a musician because I liked the way music made me feel and I wanted to share that amplified feeling with others.” At the age of 13, Denzell started playing the keyboards for a local quartet group called, The Hard Hitting Manigauilt Specials. He went on to win a cluster of talent competitions and was featured in the Patriot News, a local newspaper in Harrisburg. One of his greatest milestones as a young teen was performing for, former mayor, Stephen Reed At the age of 26, Denzell Terrell is enjoying the campaign to success as an independent artist. He is ready to take his career to the next level and with hits like MVP, and reaching 100k ringtone downloads, through mixer, he is well on his way to establishing legendary status. His latest project is a highly anticipated EP titled “Something Special that consist of ten fully original songs, to be released beginning of 2017.
