With a new age flow, RocStat mentality, and surreal perspective of growing under harsh financial situations. Not only does Nick Hustle stand a fighting chance against the new wave of released artists in the major market, but he has that straight to the soul influence that will mold the future of Hip Hop. Born and raised in Texas, but being raised by east coast roots has given Nick an unorthodox style, he likes to refer to as “Trill Hip Hop”. Being compared to the likes of Wale, J. Cole and other new age hip hop artist, this Stat Life pledger refuses to take comparison lightly so expect a lane of his own. Working under manager, Joey Gryme and GrindKing Media MGMT, the Nick Hustle Campaign is preparing for a strong 2014 debut album release.
For Hustle, plenty has happened between the time of beating on the lunch tables freestyling and preparing for a impeccable recording career that lies ahead. He explains, “Dollars, Deals and Death seems like all the in between to me. Music is not only and outlet, but an income for my family, I’m young and striving for this. My hunger comes from a different starvation, my ambition from a different beasts belly, and my flow, well shit honestly it comes from anger.” Despite the critics and hip hop cops, Nick has committed, admitted and submitted himself to hip hop and good music. “I hear and read about major artist saying “it’s not about the money, it’s about the music” to me that’s wack shit, if it’s really about the music keep it trill to the art and make trill hip hop, not this popular choice shit.”
Doing shows at local clubs and traveling any chance he got, Nick started establishing his name in the DFW metroplex. While working at Walmart, one of his coworkers suggest he link up with his brother to record at his studio. This is when Nick met Joey Gryme (Grindking Media, GOOD Brand), later to become his manager and quickly became a part of a progressive movement. “Joe Joe did something for me that nobody else could or would at the time, and that was given me a line. He gave me connections to places I had the talent for, but didn’t know the people to get in. Joey was that missing link to the underground.” Now recording with Joey Gryme and GrindKing Media MGMT, the Nick Hustle Campaign is preparing for a strong 2014 debut album release.
This AggTown RocStar has launched his debut Single Release "Bad Women" from the Compilation Album "A Wise Choice" produced by Jordan Wise, expected to be released late 2013. Nick is also currently working on a few mixtape projects to be released summer 2013 and his debut album “Tuesday Thoughts” scheduled for an early 2014 release.
