I started writing music when I was 12 and picked up a guitar around the same time. I was drawn to artists like Alanis Morrissette and Jewel in my early days of writing because they wrote about what they felt but still turned it into a catchy melody. I took that influence and crafted my own style of writing that includes catchy pop melodies and hooks but also delivers meaningful and thought out lyrics.
I have been playing around Tulsa for almost 15 years now and have had the awesome privilege to play with some great musicians in the past and in my current projects. Most recently, I was with The Silver Lining Band. We teamed up for a couple of years and these boys were a blast to work with and I wish them the best in their new adventures. Tulsa is, and always has been, a melting pot of talent. Moving forward, I'm going to be focusing on my original music and getting an album recorded and also working with some friends on a cover band project that we will debut very soon.
