Muvril & The Ravignes started out simply as Muv and in later years the name Muvril & The Ravignes was adopted.
Although there have been no official releases to date, Muvril & The Ravignes have a catalogue of 6 double sided albums.
The first album was "The First Realm" The second song on this album is the song which gets most interest - Peter The Pervert.
"I Learn It With the Wise Old Man" the title of which links to last track in The First Realm - The Lonely Old Wise Man. This album introduces the "Dance Of K" theme which includes the "Rain Dance Of K" and the "Boat Dance Of K"
"Tender Age In Bloom" continues the "Dance Of K" theme with a track called the "Courage Dance of K" This album also features a version of Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan called Hurdy Gurdy Muv
"No Longer Here" includes the 2nd version of Peter The Pervert as well as a version of Two Little Boys by Rolf Harris which is called 2 Lil Boyz.
"My Uncontrollable Vomit" includes a 5minute track entitled The Sad Life Of A Sad Individual (Pringle Eating Contest) which is meant to be audio taken from a fictional Pringle Eating Contest.
The last album recorded under the name Muv was "The Year Of The Broken Guitar" and is the only album to date in which there is no guitar, the album name came about due to the fact that Muvs guitar was infact broken and so a large majority of this album is played on keyboard.
There was then a break of about 10years before Muvril & The Ravignes returned to their music and transfered their albums from the original cassettes into mp3 format. A myspace page was set up and a facebook and ilike page arrived introducing people to a selection of songs from these albums.
During 2010, Muvril & The Ravignes started working on a new album "Welcome To The Flatulence" which consists of two parts : "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and "The Highs And The Blows"
There is plans for either a "best of" to be released for free or for the whole catalogue to become available in the near future.
