The Secretions are an American punk rock band from Sacramento, California. Formed in 1991, the band has released numerous albums and singles, and toured the USA and internationally. Mickie Rat attended Sacramento State University where he met D.J. Willis (a guitarist with whom he worked on the college radio station) and a drummer named Dave Leon. They decided to form a band, naming it "The Secretions" based on a list of band names Willis kept on his fridge. Shortly after the decision to form the band, Willis died in a vehicular accident. Mickie Rat met Danny Secretion (who had worked on the radio station, but whom he had never met) at Willis's funeral, and recruited him as a guitarist. The official original lineup of The Secretions was Mickie Rat on bass, Dave Leon on drums, and Danny Secretion on vocals and guitar. The band went through a number of lineup changes, including Mickie Rat being temporarily kicked out of the band, and various short-lived members through the mid to late 1990s. Kevin Stockton joined in 1999 as a touring guitarist, replacing Morgan Giles, who did not want to tour, and in 2000 replaced Morgan entirely. The lineup then stabilised for several years, with Danny Secretion on drums, Mickie Rat on bass, and Kevin Stockton on guitar. The first album released with this lineup was "Til Death" (2002). Stockton remained in the band until 2005, when he was replaced by Paul Filthy. They have since toured the USA numerous times (including Mexico and Hawaii), and Europe. They have released three three full-lengths since the addition of Paul Filthy ("Faster Than The Speed of Drunk", "GreasyHotMeatCheezy", and "Outta Beer Outta Tune Outta Touch"). As of this writing, they are working on their next release "Injahol Due To Alchury".
