Logos Soleil, a young creative solo hip-hop act from Detroit, Michigan, who's drive and determination, sets up an interesting combo of wittyness and lyrical prowess. Besides toting the role of MC, this soulful Detroit native can also boast the role of hip-hop producer as well.
Being a late bloomer, Soleil did not take to hip-hop until he was 15 years old. Logos soon took a different stand on the art form when stumbling across artist not frequetly played on main stream radio, such as Mos Def and Talib qweli of Black Starr, Little Brother and Common.
At the age of 17 Logos Soleil moved from his comfortable nook of the earth in Detroit, to the unfamiliar depths of the bayou in New Orleans, Louisiana. While there he decided that it would be best to develop a skill that would keep him focused and soon picked up a mic. Soon after realizing that he had a knack for wordsmithing he joined a group of 3 former detroit classmates and one of the members brother. This group was Undisputed.
Although it has been a journey, Logos is constantly honing his skills as a lyricist and producer. From going through artist development camps with Peggy Body to leaping into the Detroit hip hop scene on his own. Logos Soleil's main goal is to constantly put out good music that inspires others while staying true to himself.
