Morbo / Press

“Following is a man always listen to this "Eternal City of the Dead" and my face is happy. Apparently nothing, death metal-style Abscess, Autopsy, or other such poodle trash, but it puts in my life so necessary mustiness of the basement and the stench of half-rotten corpses.Alternately-quick chopping and stretching laborious riffs. Some sort of so sticky music, well, certainly not appeal to you, if death metal is equal to You some happily melodies with In Flames' logo. Morbo proudly follows the path of dirty art of death metal as in music and lyrics. And well, fuckin' death metal has to be just like Morbo suggests to us.Italians simply feel what it's all about, which I really like it.Well, after such a successful demo I can only wait for the next releases. The Tomb is uncovered already,so now is the time to fill it.”

“Morbo is a new practitioner of death, yet the band’s comprised of death veterans fromUndead Creep and Haemophagus. And quite frankly, that’s enough of a reason for me to take a listen. If you’re familiar with those two acts, it’s really the latter that’s the better comparison to what you’ll find here, because the sloppy, doom-y death of Autopsy clearly inspires the band. The spiraling descent of the riff in “Horrorday Awakening” is a fitting introduction to the band, as it takes you down into their crude, slightly psychotic state of mind that’s capable of filth like “Into the Guts of a Rotten Planet”. While all three songs span under 12 minutes, it’s more than enough material to understand the direction and the style of the band. Autopsy may have reunited, but who doesn’t want more of this shit. www.degradationofmorality.com”
