I have been so privileged to work with Barry & Batya Segal (Israel) on a number of recorded projects and for live concerts and events over the years. I have come to love their music, as well as the beautiful and emotive singing of Batya (she reminds me of Ofra Haza) and have huge admiration and respect for their humanitarian work that they do for both the Jewish & Arab community in Israel. They are truly very special people. This is my interpretation of this piece (melody by Merla) and my tribute to Barry & Batya.
