She has a unique vocal style and puts her heart & soul into every lyric of the songs. Dan Webster is in the driver's seat on Drums locked in with Jim Roxworthy on the low end on Bass. Guitar Slinger Tommy James Edwards brings the raw edge on Guitar & Vocals, while Chuck Stowe provides the classic country sound of Pedal Steel & Dobro.
Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer - MANDY Growing up in a small town of 1300 people at the time, coming from a very large family, all whom are musically oriented, it was no surprise, that Mandy knew by the age of 5 that she was going to follow in the footsteps of her Mother, Father, Brother, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Her first band began when she was 10 Years Old and grew into a 9 piece Country Band by the time she was 13. She continued performing on the fair and festival circuit with that band until she was 17, when she left to pursue her songwriting and begin her own career. Singing, Writing Songs, & Entertaining is what she's always done and will continue to do.
In 2008, Mandy formed, Rural Route One - named after the road she grew up on in that small rural town 60 Miles South of Chicago, Illinois. The background photo on the promo is one Mandy took herself on a visit home shortly after forming the band. Going into their Seventh year with numerous awards, accomplishments, 2 EP's under their belt, and many other accomplishments, a successful run with their 2014 Evolution Tour, Mandy Z & Rural Route One are proud to bring you their new single, "See It From The Other Side", June 2015!
