Cari Quoyeser is a singer/songwriter/performer originally from Houston, Texas. She started her music career as lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist for Suburban Warfare early in 2009, but also began working on a solo project in September of 2009 with Dan Workman (producer/sound engineer/president) at Sugar Hill Recording Studio. She had her first show as Cari Quoyeser Band at Fitzgerald's (Houston) on 6/25/10, along with Rebecca Laird (lead guitar), Alex Erhardt (drums), Owen Schwartzbard (keyboard), and Julia Alsaraff (bass, back-up vocals). After Julia and Owen left for college in August, Anthony Russell (bass) and Jonathon Chan (violin) were added. They have performed in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, College Station, Galveston, and various venues in Houston. Their first full length CD was released at a House of Blues performance on 11/20/10. Before attending college full time, Cari competed in the 11th season of American Idol which aired in January 2012. After coming home, Cari transferred to the University of Texas and graduated in December of 2013. Since May of 2014 she has been traveling throughout Europe and is currently exploring Israel with her primary focus on Jerusalem. She plans to be home (Austin, Texas) sometime in October.
