Formed in 2009, SA90 (named after a TDK cassette... hip or what?) has gone through a couple of lineup changes, but is solid as ever. The band was formed from the remains of the Santa Cruz band, The Sealants. Here's a brief bit about us.
Lead singer Celina may look sweet and innocent, but on stage she turns into a madwoman. Stand back and watch it happen, because you'll want to stay out of her way.
Bassist Mark Hanford has been kicking around the punk scene since the early 80s, writing for zines (MRR, Punk Planet), playing in bands (including Idaho's "Haggis") and generally being a slacker.
Drummer Flip Wheatley also has lineage back to the 80s, where he did a stint as the drummer for seminal midwest punk band "Near Death Experience".
Guitarist Joe Gabent has been in too many Santa Cruz bands to list, and is in too many right now to list, too. He was a member of the "Exploding Crustaceans", and also finds time to play with "Noise Clinic", "Fondue", and the Minutemen tribute band, "The History Lesson". Busy guy.
