Formed in 2008, The Killing of Kindness worked diligently to make a name for themselves in the Colorado music scene. Shortly after, they released their 2009 demo, premiering early versions of "Ray of Light" a story of regret; "Wake" the instant pit hit; and "Defacing Defeat" focusing on brotherhood. The quintet became notoriously known for their energetic live performances, giving each show every ounce of sweat and vigor they have.
The band's debut album "Halfway to Greeley" was released August 14, 2010 with support from celebrity Metal Sanaz and bands Controlled Demise and Ashes of Ruin. "Love Song" and "Storm" quickly became fan favorites as well as the collaboration with friend Johnny Perry, "Redneck County Fever". The next year, The Killing of Kindness was nominated into the top 18 bands in Cabo Wabo and 106.7 KBPI's Best Band in Denver.
The Killing of Kindness has performed with national acts Hemlock and Silent Civilian, including and supporting fellow Colorado bands One Shot One Kill, Controlled Demise, SmackFactor, ICO, Murder Protocol, The Silent Divine, Unreasonable Human, The Last Savior Of God, Demise Unseen, The Combustion Mechanism, Scalafrea, Dead For Denver, Harvest The Murdered, Burn Down Valor, Broken Image, Conquer Everest, Bridges Left Burning, HateFace, Wall of the Fallen, and Kill Syndicate.
