The Magnolia band has been touring the Texas music scene for the last ten years. This amped up acoustic trio consist of John Fink on lead guitar and mandolin, Matthew Ramirez on Cajon drum and back up harmony's, and Andrea Marie on lead vocals and acoustic guitar. The eclectic trio not only brings their Americana originals to life, but also charms listeners with covers of everyone from Merle Haggard to Fleetwood Mac. It is not surprising that audiences are warming to their blend of classic country with folk, jazz, and nostalgic pop influences; Andrea has been immersed since childhood in the warm, dusty, boundary-pushing Willie Nelson vibe that the region’s cowboys, hippies, college kids, and regular working folks have loved for generations. Echoes of vocalists both classic (Emmylou Harris, Patsy Cline) and recent (Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow) find their way into “Magnolia Music”, and Andrea Marie has been one of only a handful of female artists breaking through the Texas music scene in the recent years.
