Tampa outfit Mr. Bella draws influence from every corner of the modern rock landscape to create their own genre-obliterating melodic style: an engaging, guitar-driven sound as ready for Contemporary Alternative radio as it is for the Hard Music format. Equal parts hook and pummel, Mr. Bella stands apart with their hypnotic rhythms, pop-inspired songwriting smarts, and a knack for the catchy stuff.
The band came together with the idea of blending their various influences into their own new and unique identity. Mr. Bella's 2009 release titled "Cross My Heart,” (produced & engineered by Brett Hestla of the Warner Bros. band Dark New Day, Creed, & producer for Tantric and Framing Hanley), immediately garnered the attention of the music industry and fans alike. “Cross My Heart” showcased the bands command of compelling melody and heavy groove and their live shows have become consistently among the Bay area's most talked-about live-music spectacles. Aggro-diva Erin Marie alternately snarls and soars over Noah Thompson’s meaty, textured guitar work, anchored and deftly complemented by Amir DaBiri's throbbing, energetic basslines and locked-in rhythms of Don Cadman.
Having supported artists such as Buckcherry, Bush, Hinder, Sevendust, Hoobastank, Lit, Taproot, Sick Puppies, Tantric, My Darkest Days, Hollywood Undead, The Exies, The Toadies, Oleander, Marcy's Playground, 10 Years, The Almost, The Safety Suit, Medina Lake, Full Devil Jacket, and more, the group's mesmerizing live sets have earned them a reputation as one of Florida's most buzzworthy acts.
The band has released several singles since the release of "Cross My Heart", including Just Dance (a rockin' Lady Gaga remake) Psychological, Hurt Like Hell, Crash and Burn, Words, and most recently, So long To Sanity.
