Michael Lynch has been creating music for over 20 years and has been involved with music in Tasmania since his return in 1994.Originally he started an acoustic based rock band with Lisa Grindle which expanded to become 4/4Troubadour with Corey Gilham(Dead Abigails)on bass and Max Henriette on Djembe. This line up went on to record a CD titled A Million Suns with four tracks written by Lynch and four tracks written by Grindle.Corey and Max were then replaced by Nick Hart on bass and Richard Salter on percussion, and went under the name Rain.Lisa and Nick were then replaced by Andrew Oxm on bass and Steven Imlach on vocals and became Halo7.This line up went on to record a CD titled Slipstream in 2005.After Andrew left to form Branded Left Handed, Liz Neal joined for a year but left to move interstate. This line up recorded an untitled CD in 2006. Then Carl Millward joined on bass guitar and the band recorded a fourth CD New Horizons.
Halo7 disbanded in November 2009 and Michael is currently looking for a new project in 2010.
