DEAD SEASON / Bio

“Who is the most popular hard rock and metal band in Maine? Metallica? Korn? Godsmack? Nope, it’s Dead Season, founded by Oxford brothers Ian and Matt Truman. We expect that they will soon be banging heads nationwide.” – Downeast Magazine

“Although the ‘Carnival of Madness’ bands – national bestselling acts like Puddle of Mudd and Shinedown – got top billing, an informal survey of the Oxxfest crowd revealed Dead Season as an equal or more powerful draw for many fans.” – J.W. Oliver, The Lincoln County News

“This is the best hard rock band I have heard on Taxi in a LONGGG time—if not ever…” A&R #19 Taxi.com

About DEAD SEASON:
“Intensity, Integrity, and Inspiration”…these are the three words that best describe the band’s music, lyrics, and live show. DEAD SEASON is a household name in Maine and their popularity continues to grow nationally.

Founded by brothers Matt (guitar/back-up vocals) and Ian (lead vocals) Truman in 2003 and joined by bassist Steven Church (2007) and drummer Dustin Fitzpatrick (2014). DEAD SEASON has sold over 25,000 cd’s, an amazing feat considering the band has done it all on their own w/out the help of a record label.
