Based in Nashville, TN, Jeff is an award-winning songwriter, producer and session guitarist on Music Row. His songs have been recorded by George Strait, Doug Stone, Sarah Darling, Grammy-winning zydeco artist Chubby Carrier, American Idol finalist Mishavonna and used on The Voice (NBC) and Hawaii Five-O (CBS). He recently made his second appearance on the Grand Ole Opry.
On the road, Jeff spent 15 years as bandleader and guitarist for Hall of Fame artist Glen Campbell. He's also played on tours with Kenny Chesney, Tammy Cochran and an additional 3 years with Lee Greenwood. His TV appearances include the Today Show and Late Night With Conan O’Brien, and venues from the White House to Royal Albert Hall. As an actor, he's done six episodes of Nashville (ABC), three on Hawaii Five-O (CBS) and a newly-released feature film The Identical.
In the studio, Jeff's producer credits include Buck Owens, Glen Campbell and the Kingston Trio, plus many regional and developing artists like Matt Stell and the Crashers, Angels Landing, Daisy Mallory, CMT discovery Chance McKinney, Christie Huff, Kiera Moran and Brazilian singing star Berenice Medieros.
Jeff was the founder of the Nashville Writer Posse, a collective group of established and rising talent, many of whom have gone on to major publishing and artist contracts..
Jeff also serves as the Pro mentor for the Phoenix, Chicago, San Diego, Minneapolis and Honolulu regional workshops of the Nashville Songwriters Association International, leads songwriting workshops around the country as part of NSAI's Pros on the Road program. His Making Music Nashville Style residency is an innovative, growing national program that brings interactive, engaging, real-time learning to elementary school kids, emphasizing songwriting, team building and self confidence in a 21st Century learning style.
Jeff is an active community volunteer, whether he’s at home or on the road. He coaches YMCA youth soccer, brings music programs into schools and hospitals, plays guitar in his church band, teaches songwriting in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s Words & Music program where he mentors student songwriters, and he also helps with community projects.
