With a powerful rhythm section, ill guitars, and the unmistakable delivery of front man, Evan Gillis - Bostons' premiere pop-rock band, Beneath the Sheets, has created a sound and swagger that is both potent and unparalleled.
So far in their blossoming careers, the gentlemen in BTS have watched the entire catalog from their debut album, "Go Easy, It's My First..." be featured on shows such as MTV's The Challenge, VH1's Rock of Love and E!'s The Spin Crowd as well as be featured in many music and extreme sports magazines including Amp and Steez. Their first single, "Two in the Morning" has made a huge splash in the New England college radio circuit and they have shared the stage with bands like Foxy Shazam, Patent Pending and A Matchbook Romance. This seems like it could be just the tip of the iceberg for the boys in BTS. With an ever growing fan base and the bands "take no prisoners" attitude, these experiences have only cemented the fact that their ultimate goal of world domination is very much an achievable one.
Although Beneath the Sheets has enjoyed success in television, magazines and on the college airwaves, they have always prided themselves on being a great band to see live. With hundreds of shows under their belt since 2009, these veteran showmen really know how to work a crowd. "Every one of us in this band lives to play shows" says guitarist Albie Landry III. "I know that sounds corny and very stereotypical, but it's true. We have a blast customizing our set for almost every show we play. Sets for us usually feature some pretty snazzy dance moves as well as a few current hip-hop and pop covers or medleys that have a BTS twist to them. They keeps people singing along with us and the synchronized dance steps really grab the attention of people that may be seeing BTS for the first time." Beneath the Sheets has had the privilege of showcasing their wildly outlandish live act alongside a slew of notable music groups over the years. Their direct support gigs for larger artists and the ever growing buzz surrounding the band has provided BTS the opportunity to perform at a wide variety of college campuses and some of the Northeasts' most prestigious music venues and dance clubs. These venues include Pete Wentzs' Angels & Kings in NYC, the world famous Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, Mass and a sold-out Wilbur Theatre deep in the heart of Bostons' historic Theatre District.
Following the success of "Go Easy, It's My First..." and the NorthBeast mixtapes that were released in 2011, BTS plans on heading into 2013 with a brand spankin' new EP to deliver to the masses. The aptly titled, "Forever Loud" EP, is being produced by Drew Thompson Hooke (Wiz Khalifa, Lions Lions, Glamour Kills), mixed by Dan Korneff (Paramore, Pierce the Veil, Forever the Sickest Kids) and mastered by Chris Gehringer (Lady Gaga, Drake, Rihanna).
The first single from Forever Loud is "She's Bad And She Knows It". With it's infectious beat and the un-mistakable delivery of frontman, Evan Gillis, "She's Bad and She Knows It", is a sass-tastic, dancerock anthem that is sure to get people out their seats, turning up the volume, and setting their devices to repeat. "(She's Bad And She Knows It) was one of my favorite songs to record on the record" says drummer, Austin Bryant. "it's a track that's definitely going to get people up and moving around the room." The single is available via iTunes as we speak and there is an official lyric video for the track that you can veiw here. () A full length music video for the single is currently in the works with Semi-Productions (Moufy, The Fates).
Be forewarned - BTS intends on hitting every club, party and festival they can in 2013 in support of the "Forever Loud" EP. Hide yo kids, hide yo mic and make sure to catch them when they come to your town!!
