Wonderland Syndrome formed in 2009. Hailing from Oakland, California, the band quickly became a fixture of the East Bay metal/punk scene. Wonderland Syndrome quickly began recording, and hit the road. WS received numerous offers from record labels early on, but chose to remain independent in order to retain control over every aspect of their music.
After numerous successful tours, studio albums, and lineup changes, Wonderland Syndrome is still going strong. The trio will be hitting the road for a US tour this summer, and releasing their 9th studio album later in the year.
Wonderland Syndrome's eighth studio release, Transfiguration, highlights the wide range of sounds that the band has explored over the years. The album ranges from slow and atmospheric, to psychedelic funk, to grinding blast beats, groove metal, and everywhere in between. Songs about love, loss, self loathing, inter-dimensional space travel, and tacos keep the variety going. Transfiguration is available now, nearly everywhere music is sold and streamed
