Joey "The Storm" Figueroa / Bio

Joey Figueroa also known to his friends and fans as "The Storm" is a rock singer/songwriter who sings in Spanish and English. Born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico where he got his first opportunity to become a singer with such bands as "Quebec" and "Wild Dreams" before heading to the States to further his singing career. In the US he became part of bands like "Ruffchild", "Desafio" and "On The Fly" and recording a bilingual album with the lattest called "There are no angels and producing a video for the same name available in you tube. His singing influences are Steve Perry, Michael Sweet, James LaBrie and Roy Khan and his late grandmother who taught him how to sing church songs and other melodies while she was doing the house chores. he is currently working on his first solo album that will comprise of songs both in English and Spanish so be on the lookout for something new in the near future.
