The members of Reckless Rebellion are all from small town, KS, USA. Brady Moddelmog and J.J. Quillin have roots in Caldwell, at the extreme South-central region of Kansas. They headed west to Ashland and picked up Terry Jenkins III, and then North to find Weston Klein in Wamego. Since September of 2008, the band has been collaborating in Manhattan, KS to write songs about small towns, college, women, booze, and anything else that may or may not have happened to them the night before. Their sound is constantly evolving as they continue to grow as musicians, performers, and as song writers. Their set list consists of rock (classic and alternative) as well as country and everything in between. They have already had the opportunity to open up for The Drew Davis Band, Granger Smith, Back Porch Mary, the Aaron Watson Band, Clay Walker, Justin Moore, The Low Cash Cowboys, Mark Wills, Josh Gracin, Asleep at the Wheel, and Logan Mize among others ; as well as playing shows alongside their good friends from the Jared Daniels Band and The Blaine Younger Band. The Red Dirt movement, led by Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rogers Band, Stoney Larue, and many others has provided a significant amount of influence in Reckless Rebellion’s style.
