Dirk On Drums / Bio

I have to preface this with the fact that none of this would have happened had I not met an extraordinary soul of a human named Darren Bain and my drum teacher Barry Hotrum! If you know either of them you understand what I mean.
I wanted to post all of the recorded music that I played drums on. I would guess that I have a little more than a third of it. Everything I have is posted here. Reverbnation was the easiest way to do that linked with Facebook. This spans nearly 20 years of studio recordings with bands I was a part of.
Darren Bain and I met at an evening High School music "thing" that I barely recall. Besides music in common we had BMX. 1980. After high school (1986 for me) Darren went to college at the University of Idaho and after his first year there coaxed me to come up. He formed a band and we christened ourselves Imaginary Friend. We moved to Atlanta Georgia and did many things. That's the very beginning.
I'll always be thankful for the opportunities I had to make music with all the great players on these recordings.

As far as the music I have posted here I'll leave a basic chronology that shouldn't be too far off the mark.
