Rob Pottorf Music / Bio

Rob Pottorf is a composer for film and television music. Recent films include 20th Century Fox’s The Trial (starring Matthew Modine) and independent film Unrequited (starring Michael Welch of Twilight) and Dog Days of Summer (starring Will Patton) winner of Best First Feature at the 2008 Sabaoth Film Festival in Milan, Italy.

Born and raised in a small town in Ohio, Rob began playing music at the age of five and writing at the age of nine. After school at the Ohio University and the University of Cincinnati, Rob took a position with Paramount Parks as Music Director and Composer.

Scoring his first film in 1997, followed quickly by his first animated film a year later. With hundreds of corporate and commercial projects to his name, Rob has worked on several projects for Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate, Paramount, Turner Network, Fox, CBS, HGTV, CourtTV, Nickelodeon and others.
