Daytona Beach, FL
My name is James Crouch and I am a Florida-based guitarist. My musical specialties are primarily rock and blues and I have been performing this sort of music live for over four decades. However, my overall repertoire is rather diversified and includes folk, flamenco, metal, and progressive, all of which I have recorded in studios and performed before live audiences. I have been playing in bands nonstop since 1981. My first paid/professional gig was when I was 14, in 1971. In the 80's i toured with the oldies acts, The Tokens and and The Dovells.
Beyond that, I have also composed and recorded various types of music that are suitable for use in multimedia productions as soundtracks. There is currently 71 songs on my Reverbnation page.
I have been an on-call recording artist and producer for Full Sail University for over 10 years. It is my duty as such, to have quality musicians available for both audio and video recordings, usually on very short notice.
At this time, I am in 2 bands and a duet.
Both Godin Guitars and GHS Strings have both been endorsers for over 10 years. I also have an endorsement with Lampifier Microphones.
MTV has included Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and B.B. King on their ARTISTS SIMILAR TO JAMES CROUCH page:

Lost Souls is available on dozens of music sites.
In May of 2013, my Simple Complexities CD charted on the independent CD charts. Simple Complexities was engineered by 2 time Grammy winner, Juan Covas.
I have been to 2 NAMM shows, one in Anaheim, one in Nashville, over the past few years. Each one was representing a different guitar company.
I also teach guitar lessons to various students as I have done since 1982.

“Jim Crouch is a blues-rock guitar master… who can play as well as blues greats like BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan”. - Gail Worley - Starpolish.com, www.starpolish.com/artists/critics/display.asp?id=11384
“Eric Clapton has had his territory invaded again, this time by blues guitarist Jim Crouch…The great thing about Liberty is that it’s just as much rock as blues-total collaboration, so don’t worry about getting depressed. It’ll lift ya’ - Ben Ohmart - Assistant Editor - Musicdish.com.
“Crouch is a forceful guitar man that has his chops down, and so do his band mates and the various guests that appear on this project…at times he rips off some impressive licks reminiscent of Clapton or Stevie Ray…On the instrumental “Serenity,” Crouch and his crackerjack band exercise a marvelous display of sharp-as-a-razor six-string dexterity with a tip of the hat to all the great blues-rock players that have come and gone, and they do it beautifully.”......Keith “MuzikMan” Hannaleck - Jazzreview.com.
